About Me
You name it. I have covered it. From natural disasters to political corruption and sports championships, I have extensive experience communicating essential information under the tightest of deadlines.
I was a fixture on WGN-TV in Chicago from April 2008 to July 2024, serving as a general assignment reporter for WGN News and later as co-anchor of the WGN Weekend Morning News.
Chicago is my home. I am a proud alum of Whitney Young Magnet High School. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Syracuse University with a double major in Broadcast Journalism and African American Studies. I started my journey in television as a multi-media journalist at WMGT in Macon, Georgia. I returned to the Chicago-area in April 2006 as an anchor and reporter for CLTV.
Throughout my career, I have been laser focused on telling thoughtful and impactful stories affecting Chicago’s Black community, including deeply reported segments on systemic inequities, housing and education. I have a proven record of identifying compelling narratives, breaking down complex topics and sharing them with the public.
